Chinese filmmaker Grace just froze her eggs in Europe. She reunites with Shekinah, a single mother in a low-income community in USA in a heartfelt summer.
Shot on 16mm and S8mm across two continents, this sparks raw diary witnesses their bond navigating motherhood and autonomy. Through a reimagining of intimacy exchange, they interrogate bodily choice and rewrite their own stories—tender, radical, and utterly their own.
