The biggest night food market in Changsha, China has been usually stopped because of controversy of complicated area management and and pollution issue. There are about 178 people making their living in this quare every night .But this square will be turned down by government because of the construction of the subway soon. I followed this group of people to get to know the story and challenge of their lives. This documentary film about night market workers life under urbanization was shot by myself for half year in 2014-2015.

This film follows Mati, a 48 year-old Swiss musician, on a journey from his hermit-style music studio through the sprawling Chinese countryside in pursuit of his pure music dream and also observing contemporary China in village.
